This place is a famous megalithic burial site, where some pillars have been dated as old as 3000 years. First look of the site will necessarily remind you of the world famous Stonehenge in the United Kingdom. This site presents an age old tradition of the local tribes where these giant sized stone pillars were erected centuries back by the local inhabitants in the memory of their deceased elders, relatives and prominent persons of the tribe. With the evidence of use of iron in these memory pillars, it is believed that the people here might have probably been the first to use molten iron in India.
